The Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) is a mandatory national licensing exam for all physicians seeking to practise medicine in Canada. Who is eligible to take the MCCQE?
230 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) only. The CDM short-answer component has been removed from the current exam format.
MCQs are split across two sections of 160 minutes each, with an optional 45-minute break in between.
